In a place where anything is possible and nothing is quite what it seems, a passing cloud grows dragon’s teeth, a dark city skyline lights up like a firefly and a whole world of imagination spills out from an empty packing crate. This July, join Beautiful Creatures Theatre on a journey of magic, mystery, music and dance in Gift, a stunningly visual show celebrating the power of creativity.

A free outdoor family spectacle brought to you by Beautiful Creatures Theatre (The Winter Giant – Alt Reading Event of the Year 2015) in association with The Broad Street Mall, SITELINES Festival, Reading’s Year of Culture and supported by Arts Council England.

The Broad Street Mall, Reading.

The performance will take place outdoors by the South Entrance on Queen’s Walk.

The performance is 25minutes and suitable for a family audience


Have a peek in the OCTO-POT for a larger than life seafood surprise. Help the chef try to contain the mischievous 8 legged dish, in this funny, interactive show.

Audiences will be surprised and delighted by the giant and grumpy octopus puppet as she emerges from the cooking pot, to play games, have a dance and fight an epic battle.
